Prostokvashino Village to Launch Glamping Resort with Cartoon-Themed Fun in 2024
Prostokvashino Village in Nizhny Novgorod Region is set to become a new tourist hotspot. Governor Gleb Nikitin has announced plans to develop the area, including a glamping resort and themed attractions. Funding will come partly from the box office success of the Prostokvashino film series.
The project will begin in spring 2024 with the construction of modern glamping facilities. These will offer visitors a comfortable stay while exploring the village’s cartoon-themed attractions. Characters like Sharik and Matroskin, along with stories from Pechkin, will feature prominently.
The glamping resort and infrastructure upgrades will move forward in early 2024. Funding from film revenues and government grants will support the project. Once complete, Prostokvashino Village will offer a mix of modern comforts and nostalgic cartoon experiences for tourists.
