Public Voting Begins for We Are Together Awards, Supported by Putin
Public voting has commenced on the MAX messaging app to crown the winner of the People’s Recognition category for the We Are Together International Awards. This year's event, supported by Russian President Vladimir Putin, brings together tens of thousands of volunteers from Russia and abroad.
A total of 61 finalists have made it through to the national and international tracks of the fifth season. They hail from 31 Russian regions and 23 foreign countries, including Morocco, Kenya, Nigeria, Bangladesh, and Kazakhstan. The highest numbers of finalists are from Krasnoyarsk Krai, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug–Yugra, Moscow, and the Moscow region.
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko has extended his congratulations to the finalists on their remarkable achievement. The expert judges, whose identities remain undisclosed, will evaluate the finalists' projects based on professional criteria. Voting is open until November 7, with the laureates to be announced in late November. The official awards ceremony will take place in Moscow from December 2 to 5.
The We Are Together International Awards, now in its fifth season, continues to recognise and celebrate the efforts of volunteers from around the world. With public voting underway, the stage is set for an exciting culmination to this year's event.
