Publicis Groupe bids farewell to a 30-year veteran leader in 2025

Frank-Peter Lortz will leave Publicis Groupe at the end of 2025 after more than 30 years with the company. His departure marks the close of a long career that began in 1994 as a trainee. The leadership team will now report directly to EMEA CEO Demet Ikiler, while Silvana Imperiali steps in as Managing Director for the DACH region and Czech Republic.

Lortz joined Publicis Media in 1994 and steadily climbed the ranks. By 2016, he had become CEO of the media division for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (DACH). Four years later, in 2020, he took charge of the entire Publicis business in the region.

Lortz’s departure concludes a three-decade career at Publicis, where he played a central role in shaping the company’s direction. The leadership team will now operate under a distributed model, with Silvana Imperiali leading the DACH region. The changes follow a period of consolidation and growth under Lortz’s guidance.
