Putin Emphasizes Open Dialogue, Skills Development, Proposes 2027 as Year of Geography

Russian President Vladimir Putin has stressed the importance of open dialogue in addressing key issues related to bolstering the nation's human resources and development. He made these remarks while greeting participants of the 11th All-Russian Forum 'Russia’s National Qualifications System'.

Putin praised the progress of Russia’s national qualifications framework, which has already seen nearly 600,000 Russians undergo independent assessments of their professional skills. He highlighted that the framework has successfully completed its formative stage and is now being implemented under the Human Resources national project.

To foster a modern and competitive labor market, Putin emphasized the need to continue improving education, retraining, and the adaptation of specialists. He believes this will help develop the in-demand workforce of the future.

In another development, Putin proposed declaring 2027 as the Year of Geography in Russia. This move aims to commemorate several significant anniversaries in the field of exploration and discovery.

Putin's emphasis on open dialogue and continuous improvement in education and skills assessment underscores Russia's commitment to developing its human resources. The proposed Year of Geography further demonstrates the nation's dedication to celebrating and advancing its rich history of exploration and discovery.
