Qatar and Lebanon unite to empower youth through education reforms

HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation and the Education Above All (EAA) Foundation, held talks with Lebanon’s First Lady, HE Nehmat Aoun, on Tuesday. The meeting took place during the World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE) 2025, where both leaders explored ways to deepen collaboration in education and youth development.

The discussions centred on ongoing efforts to improve access to quality education for children. Economic empowerment for young people was another key topic, with both sides emphasising the need for practical solutions.

The outcome of the meeting points to expanded cooperation between Qatar and Lebanon in education and youth empowerment. Joint projects will now focus on implementing innovative approaches to support children and young people. Further details on specific programmes are expected to follow in the coming months.
