Qatar strengthens audit ties with Saudi Arabia and regional partners at ARABOSAI summit
Qatar’s State Audit Bureau has agreed to fortify cooperation with several nations in audit work. The discussions transpired during the 15th General Assembly of the Arab Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ARABOSAI) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Officials from multiple countries participated in the talks.
HE Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Emadi, President of Qatar’s State Audit Bureau, headed a delegation at the event. They met with audit chiefs from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Tunisia, and Sudan. The focus was on bolstering joint audit endeavors and sharing expertise.
The agreements signify a stride toward closer audit cooperation between Qatar and the involved countries. Joint initiatives in oversight and accountability are now anticipated to advance further. The outcomes are likely to impact future work within the ARABOSAI framework.
