Qazaq Air Pilots Demand Pay Review After Safety Incident

The Ministry of Transport has requested Qazaq Air to address the pilots' appeal, which highlights increasing workload and unchanged salaries. Pilots are pushing for a review of payment for night flights and flight hours, citing additional fatigue and responsibility. They have also demanded an increase in base salary for commanders and second pilots.
An investigation, led by the 'Special Commission for the Investigation of the Kostanai Incident', has been launched following the aborted takeoff. The Ministry of Transport considers the situation under control, emphasizing Qazaq Air's crucial role in regional air transportation. Owned by Sovico group, Samruk-Qazyna, and Kazasia Holding Limited, Qazaq Air is under pressure to resolve the pilots' concerns.
