QinetiQ US promotes Scott McGleish to the role of Chief Growth Officer.

Scott McGleish, a seasoned veteran with over 30 years of experience in the aerospace and defense industry, has been appointed as the Chief Growth Officer at QinetiQ US.

McGleish's extensive background in business development and profit & loss management, coupled with his distinguished military service, makes him highly qualified for this role. He has held senior positions at Raytheon Technologies and Booz Allen Hamilton, where he honed his expertise in international market development and strategic partnerships.

Before joining QinetiQ US, McGleish was President & General Manager of Weibel Scientific North America. There, he led strategy, operations, and business growth for instrumentation and surveillance radars.

McGleish's military background is noteworthy. He served 21 years in the U.S. Army as a Special Forces Officer and Non-Commissioned Officer, participating in combat operations including Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. This operational experience provides him with a deep understanding of customer needs and mission priorities in defense and national security contexts.

Academically, McGleish holds a Bachelor of Science in International Business with a minor in Logistics and Transportation from the University of Maryland's Smith School of Business. He also earned an MBA and an MA in Information Technology Management from Webster University, and an MA in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College.
