Quảng Ninh Holds Two Major Legal Aid Training Conferences
Two significant training conferences were recently held in Quảng Ninh province, focusing on enhancing legal aid knowledge and capacity among local officials and community representatives. The events, organized by the Department of Legal Education and Legal Aid, aimed to bring legal aid closer to the people and improve access to justice.
The conferences, led by the Center for Legal Information, were attended by ward officials, community leaders, and other stakeholders. They provided practical legal scenarios, covering land disputes, family and marriage, labour, and social insurance issues. Speakers Lê Thị Thúy and Nguyẽn Thị Ngọc Lan shared legal knowledge and introduced grassroots legal aid services.
Participants engaged actively, asking and having their questions answered, fostering increased legal awareness. They also received detailed information about Quảng Ninh's legal aid system, contact numbers, and addresses of legal aid centres, along with guidance on detecting, referring, and assisting people to appropriate legal aid locations.
The conferences successfully laid a foundation for legal aid integration into daily life, bringing the law closer to the people, especially vulnerable groups. Delegates expressed hope for further training classes to provide more opportunities for people to access and better understand legal aid activities. The Department of Legal Education and Legal Aid plans to continue such initiatives as part of its annual work plan.
