Raiffeisen Bridges Neuwied: Night and Weekend Closures Ahead
Construction on the Raiffeisen bridges Neuwied is well underway, with the next phase set to begin on Monday, October 6. The work, which is expected to last until the end of October 2025, is causing some disruption to residents and road users.
The Landesbetrieb Mobilität has announced that the bridge will need to be fully closed during certain nights from October 20 to 24 for remaining work. Additionally, another closure weekend is planned from October 17 to October 20 for the installation of the new bridge structure. Road users are advised to expect noise during night and weekend work.
Work on the approach bridges along the B256 has been ongoing since mid-September. From October 10 to October 13, the approach bridge in the direction of Koblenz will be completely closed for the removal of the old transition structure and installation of a mobile bridge. During these closures, traffic will be rerouted via the 'Sandkauler Weg'.
For the latest information on planned closures and disruptions, road users are advised to contact the local traffic authority or visit local news sources and official websites. The next phase of construction begins on October 6, with the project expected to be completed by the end of October 2025.
