Railway Board honors Constitution Day with solemn Preamble recital
A special ceremony marked Constitution Day at the Railway Board Headquarters on Monday. The main event celebrated the adoption of the Indian Constitution on 26 November 1949. Senior officials and staff gathered to honour the nation’s founding principles in a formal programme.
The ceremony began at 11:00 AM in the Board’s Conference Hall. Chairman and CEO of the Railway Board, Satish Kumar, led the proceedings alongside other high-ranking officers and employees. Together, they recited the Preamble of the Constitution, reaffirming their commitment to its values.
The Railway Board’s event blended traditional and digital celebrations for Constitution Day. Officials and employees engaged in both physical and online activities to mark the occasion. The focus remained on reinforcing constitutional awareness and civic responsibility.
