Rain fails to dampen spirits at Nizhny Novgorod’s ‘Circle K of Unity’ festival
Over 800 people braved the rain to gather at Avtozavodsky Culture Park for the 'Circle K of Unity' festival, a vibrant celebration of solidarity and harmony among Nizhny Novgorod's residents. The event was organized by the Council of Municipal Formations with support from various local institutions.
The festival, held despite the wet weather, saw over 200 people join hands in a circle dance, symbolizing unity. Activists from local party branches received certificates for their contributions to the region's development. The most active users of the VVERH.PRO mobile app were also recognized for their participation in the project's implementation.
Workshops offered a range of creative activities, including crafting greeting cards, painting wooden figurines, and drawing bears, a symbol of Russia. In Balakhninsky District, activists from United Russia's Young Guard marked National Unity Day with a solemn rally. Meanwhile, members of the Nizhny Novgorod Winter Swimming Federation held a wellness event promoting cold-water immersion, with over 100 residents participating in the festive cold plunge.
The 'Circle K of Unity' festival, supported by the Open Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, brought together residents from across the oblast. Despite the rain, the event's atmosphere was vibrant, reflecting the unity and harmony among Nizhny Novgorod's people.
