Ras Al Khaimah's leaders unite for Eid Al Fitr prayers after Ramadan
Eid Al Fitr prayers were held across the UAE this morning, with Ras Al Khaimah's leadership joining worshippers at Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi Mosque in Khuzam. His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, led the congregation in prayer, marking the end of Ramadan with a message of unity and reflection.
Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi performed the Eid prayer alongside Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah. Senior officials, local department heads, and citizens also attended the service at the mosque.
During the sermon, the imam congratulated Muslims on completing the holy month of Ramadan. He described Eid as a day of joy and a chance to strengthen bonds within the community. The imam also emphasised the values of Islam, calling for acts of giving and kindness to spread love among people. Prayers were offered for the late UAE leaders, including Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The imam also prayed for the health and wellbeing of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the nation's rulers.
The Eid Al Fitr prayer in Ras Al Khaimah brought together leaders and residents in celebration. The event underscored the emirate's commitment to faith, tradition, and social cohesion as the UAE marks the end of Ramadan.
