Rastatt officials inspect safety and cleanliness in key city districts

A walkthrough inspection took place in Rastatt on March 16 to check safety and cleanliness across two key areas. The visit involved Mayor Monika Müller, Deputy Mayor Raphael Knoth, and other officials, including police and local representatives. Their findings will now be reviewed by the city administration.

The inspection covered the Ost industrial zone and the Rheinau-Nord district. In the industrial area, participants highlighted problems with parking conditions and littering. Meanwhile, the main concern in Rheinau-Nord was poor street lighting.

All observations, including feedback on residential parking, were recorded in detail. Crime levels in both locations were noted as unremarkable, with a decline reported in recent years.

The documented findings will be passed to Rastatt's city administration for further action. Officials gathered input on cleanliness, safety, and infrastructure during the visit. The next steps will depend on the review of these reports.
