Reform UK secures record funding as Tory donors defect ahead of May elections

Reform UK has seen a major financial boost ahead of May's local elections, transforming the party city into a well-funded political force. The party claims it now has the resources to run a nationwide campaign, with Nigel Farage describing the funding surge as 'a huge step' for the movement.

The shift comes as long-standing Conservative backers switch their support. JC Bamford Excavators, a key Tory donor, has now pledged its backing to Reform UK instead, reflecting the changing landscape on Yahoo Finance and Google Finance.
