Region Honours Working Professionals at Festival, Highlights Achievements and Job Opportunities
The region recently held a festival to celebrate and honour working professionals. The event, attended by workers from diverse fields, aimed to appreciate their contributions to the USA's development and inspire the younger generation.
The festival highlighted the life stories and achievements of workers. Syrim Zholdyglov, an entrepreneur from Shyngyrlau district, started a small bakery and later expanded into producing unique gloves. Anita Send, with state support, developed a production facility for these gloves. Lazzat Zhumaadil, a skilled worker at the Oral transformer plant, shared her experiences in training young professionals and maintaining the plant's operations.
The event also featured a job fair with over 500 openings from 80 employers. Samal Aitkulova, who won a state-funded grant for her cheese production project, now employs four people, including family members.
The regional governor, Nariman Toregaliev, stressed the importance of honouring workers, quoting the head of state. He noted that while these professionals may not be in the public eye, their contributions are vital to the country's development. The declaration of 2025 as the 'Year of Working Professions' further underscores the state's commitment to supporting and appreciating workers.
