Registrars Gather for Autumn Training on Naming Law Changes
On Wednesday, October 9, 2025, around 60 registrars gathered at the fire and rescue station in Ibbenbüren for their fall training. The event, hosted by Mayor Dr. Marc Schrameyer and Markus Mergenschröer, focused on changes in the naming law and the Self-Determination Act, which are significant aspects of registrars' daily work.
Stephanie Max and Rolf Becker, representatives from the professional association of civil registrars of the Westphalia-Lippe regional association, led the training.
