Reinhardsachsen breaks ground on sustainable infrastructure and waterway expansion

Construction on the expansion of the planned path and water network in Reinhardsachsen has officially begun. Today's groundbreaking ceremony, organized by the Neckar-Odenwald district and the State Office for Water Management and Geology, marked the start of this significant project. Minister Peter Hauk was present to wish everyone a smooth construction phase.

The project aims to enhance both the local infrastructure and the environment. It will involve expanding local streets, paths, and squares, as well as implementing crucial water management measures. The expansion of the planned path and waterway is accompanied by a landscape conservation plan, ensuring the project's sustainability.

The land consolidation in and around Reinhardsachsen and Kaltenbrunn is a key part of this project. It seeks to improve living and working conditions through various measures, aiming to create a more harmonious and functional living space. The project also includes the modernization of the rural road network, with three municipal connecting roads set for improvement.

The project is set to be implemented in several phases, with coordination from the city of Walldürn. The groundbreaking ceremony signals the start of these improvements, which are expected to benefit the local community and enhance the region's infrastructure and environment.
