Reinickendorf: 199 apartments have been created in the 'MyTegel' project on Biedenkopfer Straße

Berlin-Reinickendorf has welcomed a major new development called MyTegel. The mixed-use project combines modern living, office space, and childcare in one location. Designed to cut travel times, it also focuses on sustainability and convenience for residents and workers alike.

The MyTegel site now offers 12,600 square meters of commercial space, including offices for around 900 employees. Alongside this, 199 new apartments cater to singles, couples, and families, with both furnished and unfurnished options available.

Sustainability plays a key role in the design. Landscaped courtyards, rooftop solar panels, and a green-roofed underground garage with 100 business parking spots reduce environmental impact. Cyclists benefit from dedicated parking, while photovoltaic panels help power the buildings. A new daycare centre for 70 children ensures families have childcare close to home. The development’s location near public transport and major roads further shortens commutes for those living and working on-site. *M&L Projektentwicklung Alpha* led the project as developer, with *EMPIRA Asset Management GmbH* overseeing asset management. The architectural design came from *Architektur Urbanistik Berlin*.

The MyTegel project brings together housing, offices, and childcare in a single, well-connected area. Its focus on green design and accessibility aims to create a practical, sustainable community. Residents and businesses have already begun moving into the new spaces.
