Renovations reshape local citizens’ offices—here’s how to access essential services
Several citizens' offices in the region are undergoing renovations, leading to temporary service changes. Despite the work, authorities have ensured that key functions remain accessible through alternative locations. Residents can still handle essential tasks like ID collection and vehicle services during this period.
The Höhscheid Citizens' Office has closed temporarily for renovations. However, residents can still pick up returned ID cards and passports at the information desk there. For registration needs, the Central or Ohligs Citizens' Offices are available as substitutes.
The temporary adjustments mean residents must check which office handles their needs before visiting. ID collection, registrations, and vehicle services are all still possible, just not always at the usual locations. The district offices continue supporting essential functions throughout the renovation period.
