Roland Berger and Schmitz & Partner Launch New Business Restructuring Venture for 2026
Two leading consultancy firms, Roland Berger and Schmitz & Partner, have joined forces to create a new company focused on corporate restructuring. The venture, named Ralf Schmitz CRO Management GmbH, will specialise in deploying experienced Chief Restructuring Officers (CROs) to businesses facing financial difficulties. The official launch is set for January 1, 2026.
The newly formed entity will cover the entire restructuring value chain. Its primary role will be to provide seasoned CROs who can step in and guide companies through critical phases of turnaround and recovery.

From January 2026, businesses in need of urgent financial intervention will have a new resource to rely on.
