Rosgvardiya’s Krasnodar Krai Welcomes New Leadership Amid Strategic Shifts
A leadership change has taken place within Russia’s Rosgvardiya in Krasnodar Krai. Major General Sergei Tokarev has been appointed as the new head of the regional directorate. The move follows the promotion of his predecessor, Alexander Reshetnikov, to a higher position.
Alexander Reshetnikov previously led Rosgvardiya’s Krasnodar Krai directorate with a strong record. Under his command, the agency successfully maintained public order and completed its assigned tasks. His work earned praise from regional officials, including Governor Veniamin Kondratyev, who expressed confidence in the outgoing leader’s contributions.
Before this appointment, Sergei Tokarev served as chief of staff and deputy head of Rosgvardiya’s main directorate for Krasnodar Krai. He now steps into the top role with clear objectives. Tokarev has pledged to improve the operational efficiency of local units and deepen collaboration with other law enforcement bodies.
The transition marks a shift in leadership for Rosgvardiya in Krasnodar Krai. Tokarev’s focus on coordination and performance will shape the agency’s future work. Governor Kondratyev has already signalled support for the new head’s plans.
