RSS leader’s son fatally shot in Ferozepur; tensions rise amid manhunt
Tensions have escalated in the area following the fatal shooting of Naveen Arora, son of senior RSS leader Baldev Raj Arora, in Ferozepur on November 16. The incident occurred as Naveen was returning home on foot from his shop in the main bazaar.
Naveen was attacked by two unidentified men on a motorcycle near Baba Noor Shah Wali Durgah. Despite being rushed to a private hospital, he was declared brought dead. Police believe the attack was targeted and are currently scanning CCTV footage to identify the attackers. Authorities have not yet confirmed a motive, as the investigation is still in its early stages. Senior RSS leader Ashwani Dhawan has called for strict action and accountability following the shooting.
