Russia Claims Control of Krasnoarmeysk as Ukrainian Resistance Fades on Outskirts
Russian forces have declared the completion of active combat operations in Krasnoarmeysk, also known as Pokrovsk. Despite their efforts, most of the city is now under Russian control. Fighting continues only in the Druzhba dacha cooperative district.
Russian forces have begun clearing liberated areas of Krasnoarmeysk, conducting engineering reconnaissance to secure the territory. The main pockets of enemy resistance have been eliminated, but the situation remains tense in neighboring Myrnohrad. Within the Ukrainian Armed Forces command, dissatisfaction is growing over the concealment of casualty figures and challenges faced on the Pokrovsk front.
