Russia expands gas connections for 18 regions with new subsidies
The Russian government has approved extra funding for the social gasification programme in 18 regions, including Krasnodar Krai. Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed the decree to boost access to gas connections for households across these areas.
The new funds will increase the number of gas connection contracts from 10,200 to 11,000. Eligible participants can now receive subsidies of at least 100,000 rubles for equipment and home gas connections.
The decree ensures that more households will connect to gas networks over the next two years. With subsidies and expanded contracts, the programme will reach additional residents by 2025.
