Lawrow to Europe's Leaders: "You Had Your Chance, Guys" - Russia Rejects Germany and France as Ukraine Conflict Mediators

Russia has dismissed Germany and France as mediators in the Ukraine conflict. Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov declared their role no longer valid. Instead, Moscow now looks to other countries for diplomatic support.

Lavrov accused Germany and other European states of failing to push for a resolution through the Minsk agreements. These deals, signed in 2014 and 2015, aimed to end fighting in eastern Ukraine but were never fully implemented.

With Germany and France sidelined, Russia’s focus shifts to alternative mediators. The move reflects Moscow’s dissatisfaction with past negotiations. How this reshapes peace efforts remains to be seen.
