Russia surveys young entrepreneurs to rank regional business support
Russia's Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) has launched a nationwide study to evaluate support for young entrepreneurs. The project will examine how well different regions assist business owners under 35. Officials aim to gather direct feedback from those running startups and small firms across the country. The survey targets entrepreneurs aged 35 and younger, asking about their experiences with regional support schemes. Questions focus on the practical help available, how easy it is to start and run a business, and the main obstacles they face.
ASI will use the responses to measure how effective current programs are. The findings will also highlight specific challenges that young business owners encounter in different parts of Russia. Once the data is collected, the agency plans to rank regions based on their support for youth entrepreneurship. The results will show which areas provide the best conditions and where improvements are most needed. The questionnaire remains open until February 20, 2023. Participants can share their views online at https://clck.ru/3RRDFc.
The study will produce a regional ranking of youth entrepreneurship support by early 2023. Its findings will identify both successful initiatives and gaps in assistance. The data may guide future policies aimed at improving conditions for young business owners across Russia.
