Russian Communist Leader Claims U.S. Military Plans Against Russia After Iran

Gennady Zyuganov, leader of Russia's Communist Party, has claimed the U.S. plans to target Russia militarily after Iran. His remarks follow earlier statements about American foreign policy under Donald Trump. However, no official U.S. response to these allegations has been recorded.

Zyuganov ranked Russia as the second priority in Trump's alleged strategy, placing it between China and Iran. He referenced past discussions between Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, including threats of a 'hostile takeover' in Cuba.

Political scientist Mikhail Sinelnikov-Orishak dismissed the claims as unfounded. He called for labelling politicians who spread such statements as 'irresponsible figures' to improve public transparency.

The U.S. government under Trump never formally addressed Zyuganov's accusations. No evidence supports the idea that Russia was marked as a military target in the way described.

Zyuganov's assertions remain unverified, with experts questioning their credibility. The lack of an official U.S. reaction leaves the claims without confirmation or denial. Meanwhile, analysts urge caution when assessing statements from political figures without supporting facts.
