Russian Cyberfraud Suspects Face US Extradition After Thai Court Ruling

Two Russian nationals, Yegor Glebov and Roman Berezhnoy, are set to be extradited from Thailand to the US after a court ruling. They have spent nearly a year in a Bangkok detention center while facing cyberfraud allegations. Their families are now pushing for Russia's intervention to bring them home instead.

Glebov and Berezhnoy were arrested in Thailand in February alongside two other Russians, Danil Tishakov and Vladimir Meshcheryakov. The arrests followed a request from US authorities, who accused the pair of involvement in cyberfraud schemes.

The two men remain in custody as legal proceedings continue. If extradited, they will face trial in the US on cyberfraud charges. Their families maintain hope that Russian diplomatic efforts could still alter the outcome of the case.
