Russian Delegation Strengthens Cultural Ties at 'Literary Bridges' Forum in Mongolia
The III International Forum 'Literary Bridges: Towards Each Other' is underway in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. A Russian delegation, comprising writers, publishers, and cultural figures, is participating in cross-border dialogues, furthering cultural ties with Asian nations.
The forum is a continuation of the 'Literature of the Pacific Russia' festival held in Vladivostok. The Russian organizing committee includes members of the 'Literature of Pacific Russia' festival and the Primorsky branch of the Union of Journalists of Russia. The main goal is to popularize Russian culture, literature, and language in Asian countries.
During their visit, the Russian delegation met with Alexei Nikolaevich Yevsikov, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Mongolia. They discussed developing international cooperation in the Asia-Pacific and Asia regions through joint humanitarian projects. Yevsikov emphasized the importance of people-to-people diplomacy in reviving humanitarian ties between Russia and Mongolia.
The Russian delegation also presented the Russian Ambassador with a complete collection of Vladimir Klavdievich Arsenyev's works. The forum is fostering cultural exchange and understanding between Russia and Mongolia, with the potential for broader cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region.
