Russian lawmaker inspects Nizhny Novgorod’s upgraded schools and infrastructure

State Duma Deputy Artem Kavinov visited several districts in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast during a regional working trip in November 2025. The delegation from United Russia assessed local projects and met with officials to discuss ongoing developments under national and regional programmes.

Kavinov began his tour by inspecting the newly renovated Pizhema Secondary School. The building underwent a major overhaul as part of national, regional, and United Russia’s New School project. He then reviewed the area around Tonshayevskaya bus station, checking the completion of repair work on the adjacent square.

The visit highlighted ongoing improvements in education, sports, and infrastructure across the region. Kavinov’s discussions with local officials and activists aimed to address immediate needs, from accessibility upgrades to youth centre support. The delegation’s findings will inform further steps under United Russia’s regional initiatives.
