Kuban Lawyer Oleg Sychev Awarded F.N. Plevako Silver Medal
Russian Lawyer Oleg Sychev Honored with Prestigious Plevako Medal for Human Rights Work
Oleg Sychev, a lawyer from Russia's Kuban region, has been awarded the F.N. Plevako Silver Medal during a solemn ceremony honoring the highest legal profession accolades named after the renowned jurist.
The medal "For Significant Contributions to Human Rights Protection and Strengthening the Rule of Law in the Russian Federation" was presented by Svetlana Volodina, president of the Federal Chamber of Lawyers of Russia; Mikhail Tolcheev, vice president of the Federal Chamber; Henry Reznik, Honored Lawyer of Russia; and Alexey Galoganov, chair of the Moscow branch of the Association of Russian Lawyers. Among the other recipients was Tatyana Moskalkova, who served for many years as Russia's Human Rights Commissioner, advocating tirelessly for the rights of its citizens.
Sychev described the award as a landmark achievement, marking a significant milestone and high recognition from the legal community. He expressed gratitude to God, his family, his mentors, and the professional networks with which he collaborates.
