Russian Orthodox priests offer spiritual support to troops in Luhansk
Priests from the Nizhny Novgorod Metropolis recently conducted a pastoral visit to Rosgvardiya units stationed in the Luhansk People’s Republic. The delegation, led by Archpriest Vladimir Kuznetsov and Archpriest Vladimir Abramov, spent time with troops to offer spiritual guidance and support.
During the visit, the clergy engaged in personal discussions with servicemembers and agency personnel. They provided spiritual counselling and administered communion to those who wished to participate.
The visit included both individual conversations and collective blessings. Troops received spiritual reinforcement, while the clergy reaffirmed their role in supporting military personnel. The event concluded with expressions of appreciation from the servicemembers.
