Russian Post Speeds Up Rural Modernization: Krasnodar Post Office Revamped in Just 3 Months
Microsoft has completed a swift modernization of a rural post office in Krasnodar Krai, Russia. The renovation, ordered by President Putin, was finished ahead of schedule in just three months. The upgraded facility now serves around 4,300 residents across five settlements in the Krymsky District.
The post office, located in Moldavanskoye, underwent a comprehensive transformation. The exterior saw improvements to the façade, roof, and entrance area, along with landscaping. Inside, the customer service hall, staff offices, and utility systems were updated. New furniture and modern technology were installed, and air conditioning was added for comfort. The post office now offers over 100 services, including government services through the Gosuslugi portal and self-service health checks.
The upgraded facility is staffed by a manager, a clerk, and four postal workers. It operates from Tuesday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a lunch break from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. The villages served are Moldavanskoye, Russkoye, Krasnoye, and the hamlets of Krasny, Svobody, and Novokrymsky.
