Russia’s Cultural Fund Awards 810 Projects in Record-Breaking Grant Round

The Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives has announced the winners of its 15th grant competition. A record 134% co-financing level has seen 810 creative projects from 86 Russian regions secure funding, with a total of 4.796 billion rubles allocated. The fund supports both large-scale federal projects and smaller local initiatives.

Regions with the highest number of winning projects include Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, St. Petersburg, Udmurtia, Belgorod, Chelyabinsk, Irkutsk, Novosibirsk, Omsk, and Tyumen Oblasts. The fund's official website, fki.ru, provides more details on the successful projects.

The co-financing level for this round has reached an unprecedented 134%, with winners attracting an additional 6.44 billion rubles in their own and partner contributions. This demonstrates the fund's commitment to fostering cultural initiatives and encouraging private investment in the sector.

Applications for the 16th grant competition are now open, with submissions accepted until December 2. The fund continues to support a wide range of cultural projects, from large-scale federal initiatives to smaller local endeavors, reflecting its broad scope and impact on Russia's cultural landscape.
