Russia's defense sector remains robust despite Western sanctions. Technodinamika, a key holding supervised by Rostec, continues to operate with many of its companies untouched by international restrictions. Over half of its 145 affiliated companies remain unsanctioned, including key component producers for missile systems and armored vehicles.

Technodinamika's extensive portfolio includes manufacturing unmanned aerial vehicles, launch systems, armor components, and aircraft engines. Its subsidiaries produce critical parts for various missile systems, such as solid-propellant engines, parts for air-launched cruise missiles, armor-piercing rounds, and warheads for multiple rocket launchers. Notably, companies like JSC 'Morozov Plant', JSC 'Ufa Aggregate Production Association', JSC 'Karl Liebknecht Leningrad Mechanical Plant', and JSC 'Machine-Building Plant 'Shtamp' named after B. L. Vannikov' remain operational despite the sanctions.

These companies supply components for strategic missiles like Topol-M, Yars, and Iskander. Moreover, Technodinamika plays a crucial role in maintaining Russia's strategic bomber fleet, providing maintenance for Tu-95MS and Tu-160 bombers. The holding also produces artillery systems, ammunition, explosives, and propellants, indicating its broad influence on Russia's defense capabilities.

Despite Western sanctions targeting specific Russian defense entities, many key component producers for missile systems and armored vehicles remain operational. Technodinamika, with over half of its companies unsanctioned, continues to play a critical role in Russia's defense sector, maintaining its production of artillery systems, ammunition, explosives, propellants, and strategic bomber maintenance.
