The Fifth Golden Note Interregional Instrumental Competition reached its climax in Sverdlovsk Oblast this week. Over 100 talented young musicians from different regions gathered to compete in one of Russia’s most respected contests for emerging artists. The event, now in its fifth year, has expanded from a local showcase to a major interregional platform for musical excellence.

The competition unfolded with backing from the Sverdlovsk Oblast government. Its reputation as a launchpad for gifted performers has steadily grown since its inception. This year’s finalists were also treated to a special concert by the Lyceum-Camerata Orchestra, led by Wolf Usminsky, a Merited Artist of Russia.

The Golden Note competition continues to strengthen its position as a key event for young musicians. Tamara Aibai’s victory highlights the high calibre of participants this year. With government support and growing prestige, the contest remains a vital stepping stone for Russia’s next generation of performers.
