Russia's Muravyov-Amursky 2030 Programme Opens Applications for Fifth Cohort

Applications for the fifth cohort of the Muravyov-Amursky 2030 programme have opened. The initiative offers Russian citizens aged 21 to 35 a chance to gain expertise in environmental protection and infrastructure management. Up to 65 trainees with advanced degrees and professional experience will be selected by the March 16 deadline.

The programme follows a structured approach, blending theory with practical work. Participants complete modules that include regional internships and federal-level training. In the latest cohort, trainees spent time in Magadan, working with the Magadan Regional State Budgetary Institution and GEOLOG Management Company LLC.

During the federal module in Moscow, the fourth cohort collaborated with ten ministries. They focused on biodiversity, forestry, and regional development under guidance from the Ministry of Natural Resources, Rosleskhoz, and the Ministry of Economic Development. A strategic session led by Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Trutnev also formed part of their training.

Three alumni from the programme now hold positions in Magadan's government. Many graduates secure roles in executive bodies across the Far Eastern Federal District and the Arctic Zone. The initiative aims to equip professionals with skills directly applicable to their home regions.

The Muravyov-Amursky 2030 programme continues to link training with real-world impact. Graduates move into government roles, applying their knowledge to regional challenges. The fifth cohort's selection process will close in mid-March, with successful candidates beginning their studies later this year.
