Russia’s tax officials explore the nation’s post-war future in strategic lecture
A lecture on Russia’s future after the special military operation (SMO) was recently held for tax officials in Nizhny Novgorod. Over 100 employees attended in person and online as part of the educational programme Znanie.Gosudarstvo. The event focused on strategic challenges and opportunities facing the country amid ongoing global shifts.
Roman Permyakov, the lecturer, examined the roots and timeline of the Ukraine conflict. He argued that the war had sped up worldwide changes, forcing Russia to rethink its long-term planning. Evidence of the EU’s growing militarisation and open war preparations against Russia was also presented during the session.
The session provided tax officials with insights into Russia’s post-SMO trajectory and strategic priorities. Permyakov’s emphasis on technological, economic, and demographic resilience reflects broader efforts to secure the country’s future. The lecture forms part of ongoing educational initiatives under the Znanie.Gosudarstvo programme.
