Russia’s Triumph Forum Honors Top Teachers in Nizhny Novgorod

The first regional forum of education leaders, Triumph, was held in Nizhny Novgorod on December 12, 2025. The event gathered top teachers who had won, placed, or been recognised in professional competitions across the region. Organised by the Triumph Foundation, local education authorities, and the Nizhny Novgorod Institute of Education Development, it celebrated excellence in teaching while encouraging further professional growth.

The forum brought together educators from across the Nizhny Novgorod Region, home to over 40,000 teachers. Many had earned awards in contests such as Educator of the Year (Russia), School Psychologist of Russia 2025, and Teacher of the Year (Russia) 2025. These competitions form part of a broader effort under Russia’s national Youth and Children project, which includes nine federal programmes like Russia—Land of Opportunity, We Are Together, and The Best for Children.

The forum concluded with a focus on the importance of professional competitions for teacher development. Educators left with encouragement to participate in future contests, supported by ongoing regional and national initiatives. The event reinforced the role of such programmes in strengthening Russia’s education system.
