Russia’s ‘Wish Tree’ Campaign Launches to Brighten Children’s Holidays in 2025
The Magadan Region will kick off the nationwide 'Wish Tree' campaign on December 11, 2025. This annual initiative, running since 2018, has already fulfilled over 320,000 wishes for children across Russia. The event aims to bring joy to youngsters in difficult circumstances during the holiday season.
Governor Sergei Nosov, along with regional officials and agency heads, will officially start the campaign by removing the first wish-filled ornaments from the New Year tree. The programme will continue until February 28, 2026.
The 'Wish Tree' campaign has grown steadily since its launch in 2018. With over 320,000 wishes granted so far, this year’s edition will again rely on public involvement. Families and volunteers can take part by visiting the official website or local offices before the deadlines.
