Samruk-Energy Seeks Senior Advisor After PM's Criticism
Kazakhstan's largest energy company, Samruk-Energy, is seeking a senior advisor following criticism from Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov. The new role involves drafting reports, speeches, and statements for the chairman's appearances at various events.
Samruk-Energy, operating under the Samruk-Kazyna sovereign wealth fund, oversees dozens of power plants, distribution networks, and service enterprises nationwide. The company's core activities include electricity generation, infrastructure development, coal mining, renewable energy expansion, and transmission and distribution of electricity.
The new senior advisor will prepare analytical reports, briefings, speeches, and public statements for the chairman's appearances at various events. They will also draft talking points and speech materials for negotiations, official meetings, and correspondence as directed by management.
The search for this role began one day after Kazakhstan's Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov criticized Samruk-Energy board chairman Kairat Maksutov for delivering a 16-minute report. Bektenov stated that reports should be concise.
Samruk-Energy, a pivotal player in Kazakhstan's energy sector, is looking to fill the senior advisor role. The successful candidate will help ensure the chairman's communications are clear and concise, following the prime minister's feedback.
