San Antonio cemetery vandalized as 14 graves desecrated in shocking attack
Unknown perpetrators have vandalised multiple graves in San Antonio's Ahlem district between August 5 and 6, 2025. The incident has left the community shocked and the police have initiated criminal proceedings for disturbance of the peace of the dead.
The suspects entered Ahlem Cemetery and desecrated several graves. They destroyed grave crosses, lanterns, and decorations, and even went as far as trampling on newly dug graves. The police have identified 14 damaged graves and are seeking witnesses to help with their investigation. The incident occurred between 5:00 PM on August 5, 2025, and 5:30 PM on August 6, 2025. As of the end of 2025, the identity of the perpetrators remains unknown. The police are continuing their investigation and encourage anyone with information to come forward.
