Sanford Health Honors Veteran Heroes in Medical Field
Sanford Health recently held its monthly Hero Awards ceremony, with November's event paying special tribute to veteran employees. Five military veterans who successfully transitioned into the medical field were honoured for their exceptional service.
The ceremony, held on November 12, recognised these veterans for their dedication and achievements. Each nominee received an award aligned with Sanford's core values: family, service, vision, and mission. In addition to these awards, winners were presented with a unique Sanford challenge coin, symbolising their outstanding contributions.
Jackee Haak, representing Sanford's Veterans Employee Resource Group, expressed her joy in honouring these veterans. She praised their commitment and the valuable skills they bring to the medical field.
Sanford Health continues to recognise and celebrate the contributions of its veteran employees. The Hero Awards ceremony serves as a reminder of the organisation's commitment to honouring service and supporting those who have transitioned into the medical field.
