BSW establishes own youth association in Saxony - Saxony’s BSW launches youth wing JSW to mobilize young activists
The Saxony branch of the BSW party has launched its own youth wing, the Young Socialist Alliance Saxony (JSW Sachsen). The new group will serve as a platform for members and supporters aged 14 to 35 who want to engage in political activism. Its founding event took place in Chemnitz, attended by federal JSW chair Anastasia Wirsing.
The organisation held its official launch in Chemnitz, where Anastasia Wirsing, federal chair of JSW, joined the proceedings. The event marked the establishment of a dedicated youth branch for the BSW in Saxony.
With its leadership now in place, JSW Sachsen will focus on mobilising young activists across the region. The organisation aims to influence policy debates while providing a space for political engagement. Its first major event will be the December protest against conscription.
