School break-in leaves Herzlake police seeking public's help after theft

Between 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, and 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2026, a school on Bookhofer Straße in Herzlake was broken into. According to initial findings, an as-yet unidentified perpetrator forced entry into the caretaker's office by damaging a small plastic window. The suspect then climbed through the window to gain access. A Makita cordless drill, including two batteries, as well as food items were stolen. The total estimated damage is approximately €500. Police in Herzlake are appealing for any information from the public.
