Seattle Southside Honors 2026's Top Local Businesses and Leaders
The Seattle Southside Chamber of Commerce has revealed the winners of the 2026 Southside Business Awards. The annual event recognises local businesses and individuals for their contributions to the region. This year's honourees include organisations and leaders from Burien, Des Moines, Normandy Park, SeaTac, and Tukwila.
The awards ceremony will take place on Tuesday, 24 February 2026, at the Marriott in SeaTac from 5 to 7 p.m.
Among the winners, Atuiqe, LLC took home the top prize as Business of the Year. Tukwila Station Pharmacy was named Small Business of the Year, while Chastain Global Consulting earned the title of New Business of the Year.
The Roadhouse received the Community Impact of the Year award. Meanwhile, Eight Twenty Eight was recognised as Workforce Development Leader of the Year, and the Washington Center for Nursing was named Employer of the Year. Rahel Ambachew stood out as the Emerging Leader of the Year, and the International Rescue Committee was honoured as Non-Profit of the Year.
Over the past three years, the Chamber's Success Foundation has backed numerous local initiatives. These include workforce training for over 500 residents in hospitality and aviation, £250,000 in grants for 45 minority-owned businesses, and health fairs offering free screenings to 2,000 participants in partnership with local clinics.
The 2026 awards highlight the region's thriving business community and its commitment to growth and support. Winners will be celebrated at the upcoming ceremony, where their achievements in leadership, innovation, and community service will be formally acknowledged. The event also reflects the ongoing impact of the Success Foundation's programmes across Seattle's Southside.
