Seawoods-Darave station gets a new name and code by Indian Railways
Indian Railways has renamed Seawoods-Darave station to Seawoods-Darave-Karave. The change follows a decision by the Maharashtra government. Passengers and the public have been asked to note the updated name and details.
The station’s new official name will appear as 'SEAWOODS-DARAVE-KARAVE' in Roman script. Alongside this, the station code has been revised to SWDK. All railway records, signage, announcements, and passenger information systems will now reflect these updates.
The updated name and code are now in effect across all railway operations. Passengers should check for the new signage and announcements when travelling through the station. The change applies to all official communications moving forward.
