Second Season of 'My First Business' Kicks Off in Nizhny Novgorod
The second season of 'My First Business', a regional entrepreneurship competition for young people, has kicked off in the Nizhny Novgorod region. This event, open to youth aged 14 to 17, supports the national project 'Youth and Children' and is organized by the 'Height' youth center with the backing of local ministries.
The competition, which runs until October 27, is divided into five categories: 'Production', 'Innovations and Technologies', 'Media', 'Services', and 'Social Business'. Participants stand to gain monetary awards, mentorship opportunities, and business startup support. After registration via the provided link, hopeful entrepreneurs must pass through initial selection, record a video introduction, prepare a project presentation, and undergo an online defense before experts.
Mentors for the competition are drawn from the Nizhny Novgorod business community and 'Business Russia'. The top 10 finalists in each category will then present their ideas at an in-person defense, vying for the top prizes.
The 'My First Business' competition in the Nizhny Novgorod region offers a platform for young entrepreneurs to develop their business ideas, gain valuable mentorship, and compete for significant prizes. With the support of local authorities and business communities, this initiative aims to foster entrepreneurship among the region's youth.
