Serious Car Accident on B205: Driver Rescued, Road Closed
In the early hours of Saturday, September 27, 2025, a serious car accident occurred on the B205 near the Neumünster-South motorway exit. A car left the road, overturned, and landed in an adjacent field, leaving the driver with serious injuries and trapped inside.
The Neumünster professional fire department, led by ärztlicher Leiter Christoph Trockel, swiftly responded to the incident at 00:45. Around 20 firefighters and rescue service personnel arrived at the scene, bringing with them the heavy rescue vehicle and two ambulances. A doctor was also present to assist in the rescue operation.
The B205 was fully closed during the rescue operation to ensure the safety of both the rescue team and the public. The driver was successfully rescued from the overturned vehicle and immediately transported to the Friedrich-Ebert Hospital for urgent medical care.
The car accident on the B205 resulted in serious injuries to the driver, who was rescued by the Neumünster professional fire department and transported to the hospital. The road was closed during the rescue operation, and around 20 emergency personnel were involved in the response.
